PUBLIC CALL TO ACTION CAMPAIGN

Thank A Teacher Today
Sheryl Fishman Consulting developed and implemented the San Francisco Education Fund’s Thank A Teacher Today Campaign.  Begun in May 2006, the annual Thank A Teacher Today Campaign is a public call to action that seeks to thank San Francisco Unified School District teachers for their professionalism, dedication, and work on behalf of the city’s young people.   The campaign enjoys widespread support from
city and school district leaders, and a broad coalition of community-based organizations, businesses and media partners.  Please visit www.ThankATeacherToday.org for more information.

EVENT COORDINATION

Preschool California Legislator Site Visits
Sheryl Fishman Consulting served as the Bay Area organizer for Preschool California’s legislator site visits to high quality preschool programs.  The effort aims to bring policymakers into the classroom in order to familiarize them with what quality preschool actually looks like, thus providing them with an experience to draw upon when they are considering preschool-related legislation.  Please visit www.preschoolcalifornia.org for more information.
